King Hiss

King Hiss | Masters of the Universe

King Hiss, a Belgian metal band, joined us for this interview with “What’s Your Story.” The name comes from their childhood, inspired by playing “Masters of the Universe,” where the villain was their inspiration. Together since 2011, the members had already played in other bands and started music at a young age. Podcast #071 What’s Your Story.

A Belgian metal band that made a name for themselves in the underground scene with their powerful style and intense performances. They often blend heavy, sludge, and stoner rock influences, giving them a unique musical identity. If I recall correctly, their debut album, Sadlands, marked the start of their success, and they continued to gain popularity with tracks like Mastosaurus.

They have a loyal fan base, especially in Belgium and neighboring countries, thanks to their raw energy and authenticity.
